New High-Strength, High Temperature Electrical Insulation Materials Introduced

Röchling Glastic Composites announces the availability of three new grades of electrical insulation materials that provide added strength and elevated temperature capabilities. These materials are glass cloth and epoxy laminate specially developed for durable performance in demanding electrical insulating applications such as generators, switchgear, motors and transformers.

Grade G-11 F is designed for NEMA Class F applications that require strength and dimensional stability up to 155º C. It also meets U.L. flame resistance, mechanical and temperature index standards.

Grade G-11 H has been specifically developed as an insulation material for electric generators. It meets NEMA Class H standards and U.L. temperature and flame resistant standards providing high-strength and dimensional stability up to 180º C.

Slot Wedge insulation is specially designed for electrical winding slots and provides NEMA Class H performance. It provides high strength and dimensional stability in temperatures up to 180º C. It also meets U.L. temperature and flame resistant standards.
